Patient Online Access

Do you want to have access to your medical record from your home or whilst away on holiday if required?  You can also use this service to order repeat medication and book/cancel appointments.

To use this system, you must first Register at the Practice and at the online site:

If you register online first, you will have to select the orange coloured tab 'Patient Access' and select Register.  You will not have received a letter fom the surgery so then select 'No' when prompted.  The postcode for the surgery is GL14 1BE, when you select Next - choose Newnham and Westbury Surgery in High Street Newnham - not the Westbury address (as main admin site is Newnham).

You will then be taken through different screens to complete and select a Password, Security questions etc.  Please take a note of these and keep safe.  When you have completed the process, you will be given a User ID - again write this down and keep safe.  You will then have very limited access to your records.  To get the access mentioned above, complete the following form:

Registration Form

This must be handed in to the surgery - remember to bring appropriate identification with you.  A member of the admin team will then complete the process to allow greater access (please allow a day or two as only some of the team will be able to complete this processes).

Please take time to read through the following leaflet which highlights your responsibilities when gaining access to your records online:

Information Leaflet

If you prefer, you can collect a Registration Form while at the surgery - remember to have appropriate identification with you when handing in.  A member of the admin staff will then access your record to change access in preparation for you registering with the website - a letter with your PIN, Practice ID, Access ID and NHS Number will be printed and sent to you to enable your registration at

Once complete you should have access to Medical Record Viewing. Allergies, Medication and Summary.

***Please remember that it is then your responsibility to keep your passwords and personal information safe when accessing this service!
