Repeat Prescriptions

medication7If you are on regular medication you may obtain a repeat prescription without having to see the doctor. You will need to use the computerised prescription slip with the item(s) required clearly marked and hand this to the reception to deliver by post.

Telephone requests can not be accepted. Please allow 48 hours for requests to be processed.

If you wish to use the prescription collection service offered by Newnham Pharmacy your request slip must be marked with a 'C' for chemist and delivery to the surgery before 11.30.

All patients on repeat medications require review with the doctor or nurse at regular intervals. The review date will appear on the repeat request slip. This review is essential to ensure your medication is still appropriate for your medical needs.

If you wish to speak to a dispenser with any qeuries please telephone after 11am.

The Dispensary is open 8.30-1pm 2pm-6pm Monday to Friday and is contactbable via the normal surgery number after 11 am.

The mobile phone trial proved difficult due to signal reception and will no longer be used - apologies for this inconvenience.

The dispensary will be closed between 1pm and 2pm for lunch each day.
