Blood tests can be arranged with our phlebotomist on the following days:-

  • Wednesday from 08.30 - 14.00
  • Thursday from 11.00 - 1300

Maternity Care

The practice provides full maternity care with weekly antenatal clinics run by our community midwife at Newnham Surgery.

The Health visiting Team are based at Cinderford Health Centre.

Newnham Surgery - 1st Thursday every month 1.30pm-2.30pm (commencing 1st March 2012)

Drybrook Surgery -Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 1.20pm-2.30pm

Mitcheldean Surgery - Every  2nd and 4th Monday from 9.30am-11.30am

Hilltop Children Center Cinderford - Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 9.20am-11.30am

Newent Health Centre - Every 1st and 3rd Thursday from 9.20am-11.30am

The clinics are ran by the Community Nursery Nurses

Contraception

The surgery provides contraceptive advice in normal surgery hours. Any doctors, or the practice nurse, will be able to help you in your choice of contraception.
